BUILD
_Tall, solid, generally sturdy. A large midlander._Broad in the shoulders. Long legs, large hands._Weight tends to fluctuate depending on whether he has a steady supply of work or not.
NOTABLE FEATURES
_Pretty young to be going grey.
_Funny-colored eyes that don't match. What a weirdo.
_Some sort of marking on the side of his face, too much hair in the way though.
_Fair number of scars about him. He is quick to shrug them off as "part of the package", given his profession.
_Hair sticks up in the back, nothing to be done about it.

_Somewhere between passively happy-go-lucky, slightly lost, and perpetually uneasy...but always kind.
_Will take on any pretty much any job as long as it pays, which tends to put him in some bleakly hilarious situations (he can be an exasperatingly gullible mercenary).
_Not great at navigating "regular life"; wants to be where the people are, has dismal social skills.
_Tends to get jumpier than usual when outnumbered, or around those he is unfamiliar with.

WHEN IT MATTERS
_He's tired...but seemingly resigned to the shackles of his fate, for reasons he has trouble explaining.
_Devastatingly strong when he has to be, he's a force to be reckoned with in combat. Notable skill with a blade for someone who claims to be a self-taught merc with aught but a handful of cycles under his belt.
_Extremely hard to take down. His endurance -- or stubbornness -- allow him to take an impressive number of hits before he finally falls. Quick to dismiss concerns by assuring others he "doesn't die easy".
_A perpetual drifter with a great love of people. Tends to quietly vanish from their lives as uneventfully as he enters them, almost as though he was never really there to begin with. Never stays quite long enough to be remembered. As such, occasionally referred to as the 'Man With No Shadow'.
_ ...Pity he's also a bleeding heart. Recklessly protective of those he cares about, and loyal to a fault. Keeps coming back.

For too many cycles now, who knows what he was doing before all that.

His seemingly perpetual wandering makes it hard to pin down where he might actually be from originally, but at this point he can navigate the sands of Thanalan near better than any native.

Almost no presence around standard job boards despite his skills and ongoing need for gil, but has earned a reputation among groups of less...scrupulous individuals for agreeing to take on any type of work, the outcomes ranging from comical to severe.

Self-taught over the years, mostly to keep his own gear in one piece. When times are tough or merc gigs are scarce, minor income from these skills is about all he can manage.

He appears to have past affiliation with the Adventurer's Guild, but with no notable contributions. His prolonged absence with the guild places his membership into question.

Bust your gear? He's no master, but he's a decent enough smith to be recommended. He's always eager to learn from more experienced smiths, though he underestimates his own skills. Does his best to patch up both the gear and the person bringing it to him if they are also busted._BLOOD FOR THE BLOODSANDS
